🍺 Barback – WEST Brewing Company (Fremont, Seattle)

Location: WEST, 513 N 36th Street, Seattle, WA (Fremont)

Position: Barback (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Reports To: Bar Manager / Lead Bartenders

About WEST

WEST is Seattle’s newest fully licensed nightclub and international music bar, located in Fremont. We are a cultural hub for live music, comedy, and the arts — built on inclusivity, energy, and community. Behind every great bartender is a great barback. Our barbacks are the backbone of the operation, keeping the bar stocked, clean, and running at full speed during our busiest nights.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, kegs, ice, and bar supplies throughout shifts.
• Maintain clean, organized bar stations (glassware, garnish prep, trash removal).
• Assist bartenders in preparing mixers, juices, syrups, and garnishes.
• Collect and wash glassware quickly and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to bartenders/management.
• Support bartenders during peak service with setup, breakdown, and guest assistance.
• Uphold WEST’s commitment to safe, inclusive, and welcoming nightlife.
• Follow all WA State liquor and health codes.

Requirements

• Prior barback, busser, or bar support experience preferred (nightclub/high-volume environment ideal).
• Current Washington State Food Worker Card (required).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work quickly in a high-energy, crowded setting.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and positive attitude.
• Available nights, weekends, and late hours (7 PM–2 AM).
• Professional, reliable, and guest-focused.

• Desire to learn bartending and grow into bartender positions.
• Adaptability under pressure and fast-paced shifts.
