🍸 Bartender – WEST Brewing Company (Fremont, Seattle)
Location: WEST, 513 N 36th Street, Seattle, WA (Fremont)
Position: Bartender (Part-Time / Full-Time)
Reports To: Bar Manager / General Manager
About WEST
WEST is Seattle’s newest fully licensed nightclub and international music bar, opening in Fremont. We are a cultural hub for live music, comedy, and the arts, built on inclusivity, community, and high energy. Our bartenders are not just servers — they are the frontline of the experience, creating the vibe, keeping service flowing, and making sure every guest feels welcome and safe.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent, fast-paced bar service during high-volume nights (music events, comedy shows, late-night sets).
- Craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve beverages to consistent standards.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for guests of all backgrounds.
- Maintain clean and stocked bar stations, glassware, and prep areas.
- Accurately handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions.
- Check IDs and enforce all state liquor laws and WEST’s house policies.
- Collaborate with security, barbacks, and floor staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Represent WEST’s mission: safe, inclusive, energetic nightlife that celebrates culture and community.
Requirements
- 2+ years bartending experience in a nightclub, bar, or high-volume restaurant.
- Current Washington State MAST Class 12 permit (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training).
- Current Washington State Food Worker Card.
- Strong mixology and cocktail knowledge; ability to move fast without sacrificing quality.
- Positive, professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusivity, hospitality, and guest safety.
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and late hours (7 PM–2 AM).

- Passion for live music, comedy, and the arts.
- Bilingual or multicultural communication skills.
- Experience handling large crowds and high-pressure service environments.
- Team-player mentality — thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving nightlife setting.
